About Swanley Scouts

Some 1000 boys and girls are members of Swanley Scouts District and we are growing each year.

The reasons for our success are that we offer  fun and adventure with the opportunity to try lots of exciting new activities.

Whether you're  Beaver Scout age (6 - 8), Cub Scout (8 - 10½),Scout (10½ -14), Explorer Scout (14 - 18) or a member of the Scout Network (18 - 25) there's an adventure waiting for you. All sections are open to girls & boys with 40 per cent of our new recruits being female.

Recently we've had Beaver sleepovers, Cub Scout camps, Scouts building their own rafts, Explorers on night hikes. We've done rock climbing, survival camps, parascending, go-kart racing, canoeing, cross country racing, hiking, swimming galas, loads of badge courses and every  summer hundreds of us go on a week long camp.

Each week we meet for an evening's activities where we learn new skills, play games, meet our friends and have a great time. So  check us out and get ready to join the adventure.
